**Golden Wedding Anniversary**

their 50th Wedding Celebration, Saturday, November 9th,
from 5:00 - 7:00
p.m. at the Old Rock School
on Hiway 162 in Cedarville.
No gifts please,
just your presence is gift enough.
**Be Still*
Sometimes I ask the question,
"My Lord, is
this your will?"
It's then I hear you answer me,
"My Precious Child... be
still."
Sometimes I feel frustrated,
Cause I think I know what's
best.
It's then I hear you say to me,
"My Busy Child... just
rest."
"I know the plans I have for you,
The wondrous things
you'll see;
If you can just be patient, Child,
And put your trust in
me.
I've plans to draw you closer.
I've plans to help you
grow.
There's much I do you cannot see
And much you do not
know.
But know this, Child ..... I LOVE YOU.
You are Precious
unto Me.
Before I formed you in the womb,
I planned your
destiny.
I've something very special
I hope for you to learn.
The
gifts I wish to give to you
Are gifts you cannot earn.
They come without a price tag,
But not without a
cost;
At Calvary, I gave Myself,
So You would not be lost.
Rest, Child, and do not weary
Of doing what is good.
I
promise I'll come back for you
Just like I said I would.
Your name is written on my palm,
I never could
forget;
Therefore, do not be discouraged when
My answer is... "Not
Yet."

**Family Life Ministry**
By Brad Pistole
What an exciting time of year! If you havent realized it yet,
the h word will soon be appearing everywhere. Thats right! The HOLIDAY season
will officially get underway in a matter of days.
I love this time of year! Could it be all the food? Could it
be the gifts? Could it be the focus on families spending time together? Could it
be the acts of kindness and selflessness that always seem to occur? The answer
is YES to all of the above.
However, one of my favorite parts of this season involves an
annual event put on by our teens here at West-Ark: the Teen/60+ dinner. Our
teens always put together a special night in honor of our 60+ group. They are so
important to us.
This year we have made BIGGER and BETTER plans than usual. Our
60+ dinner will take place on Saturday, November 23, and it will be TOTALLY
student led this year. Thats right! The theme, decorations, set-up, clean-up,
and cooking will be done solely by our teens.
We want to take this opportunity to extend a special
invitation to the following people: ALL 60+ individuals, our elders and their
wives, and all parents and families of our teens.
We want all of you to take part in this special night of
thanksgiving that will focus on the many different ways our 60+ group continues
to lead us. If you plan on attending, please sign the list on the Parents
Information Table in the foyer so we can make appropriate plans. Its going to
be a great night!
