**2010 Baby Bottle Campaign**

[Below is an excerpt of a letter from Heart to Heart that is posted on our bulletin board in the foyer!]

July 9, 2010

West-Ark Church of Christ,

Your help  is deeply appreciated.  West-Ark Church of Christ had a baby bottle collection of $4,266.34! God laid this ministry on your hearts and West-Ark answered His call.  We were able to raise $6,000 with the help from your congregation. West-Ark’s gift to us is already at work, making a difference in the lives of those we see...

Theresa K. Reeves

April D. Moore

**Aluminum Cans for Heart to Heart**

Mark Wilson reports that West-Ark’s aluminum can recycling program for Heart to Heart totaled $252. Please keep up the good work -- we’re already recycling cans for next year.

**King’s Kids Calendar**

Silly Olympics, Sunday, July 25

(For 3 year olds through those going into 1st grade AND FAMILIES)

Don’t miss out on this fun, family event!

**Visit Egypt & Israel**

Michael & Jeannie Cole are organizing a 2-week, once-in-a-lifetime Holy Land tour departing on Tuesday, March 15 and returning on Tuesday, March 29, 2011. We will visit many ancient biblical sites and expect to develop a renewed reverence for Scripture. Price will depend on the number of people who participate, but we expect the total cost (including airfare and meals) to be approximately $4,000 per person. (It’s an extra $1,000 if you don’t share a hotel room.) To book the tour we need 20 to 40 people to sign up. If you are interested, please contact Michael or Jeannie by August 1st. West-Ark members will be given first choice before we start recruiting from elsewhere.

**WIDOWS/WIDOWERS LUNCH**

Saturday, August 7, we will dine at Steffy’s Pizza in Lavaca.  The bus will leave the Annex at 11:30 AM.  Don’t miss this opportunity for a delicious meal (only $3), wonderful fellowship, and a delightfully scenic drive to and through the city of Lavaca.

Due to Faith Fusion, the Car Clinic is postponed until September.
