**Lions
For Christ Open House** September 11, 5:00 p.m.
You are invited
to celebrate the grand opening of the Lions for Christ Campus House,
Saturday, September 11 at 5 p.m. Come and tour the new house led by
our amazing students, enjoy delicious hot dogs and cool drinks, and offer
prayers of thanksgiving for everything God and this church community have
done for us.
You can help us get started in our new house with a
pounding September 11, at 3:30. The Lions for Christ are registered
at Wal-Mart, Target, and Lowe's.
Did you know? * This past
summer, the Lions for Christ and the West-Ark Church of Christ sent 6
interns to Houston Impact Church of Christ. * LFC and West-Ark supplied
Impact with more Interns than any other college (including ACU and
Harding!) * Shane Hughes, campus minister, is teaching his second year
of Intro to Old and New Testament classes Tuesday/Thursday at 2:00!
Shane's classes average 25-30% repeat students who have taken his class in
the past and couldn't get enough! * The LFC operating budget does not
come from West-Ark's regular contribution. If you would like to
support the incredible work of the LFC, contact Mary at the church office
and she will send you more information, including our new debit-type
transaction!
