**Praying for God’s Mission in Bulgaria & Belgium**

“For my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.” Isaiah 56:7

This week’s featured mission point is Europe, which includes Bulgaria and Belgium.

Below are some of the ways you can pray for the mission in Europe:

- Pray for Christo & Vania Arnodauv, to be encouraged to continue the difficult task they have of leading and helping the church in Sofia, Bulgaria grow.

- Pray for God to raise up young people to be willing to spend a year or more assisting the Arnodauvs in their efforts to reach out to young people.

- Pray for the orphanage in Vidin, for the children that live there and the workers that have labored there for years.

- Pray for God to bless our efforts to do mission work during Spring Break in Tegucigalpa, Honduras; next summer in Sofia, Bulgaria; and next summer in Detroit, Michigan.

- Pray for John Paul and Ruby Lee Hundley serving the church in Belgium.

We’re beginning NEW classes this Sunday.  The High School class will be taught by John Carson and Kent Snider,  who will be teaching based on the book, “The Barbarian Way.”  The Jr. High class will be taught by Brad Moore and Joe Morgan, who will be teaching based on the book, “Be The Wave.”  Both resources are excellent and use lots of Biblical principles and material to help in spiritual growth. Bring your Bible and get ready for these great classes!

Parents’ Class – Sunday, October 10, 9:30-10:30 AM

Rick will continue a new series this Sunday, based on the book “Almost Christian:  What the faith of our teenagers is telling the American church.”  It will be challenging, informative, and hopefully become a call-to-action.  This Sunday, we’ll discuss “Becoming Christian-ish.”  Bring your Bibles, coffee, and insights as we begin a brand new study!  This is open to ANY and ALL parents (not just parents of teens).

We’ll head to the Greek Theater on the campus of the University of Arkansas for an OUTDOOR SNL, hosted by our own Lions For Christ and the Razorbacks For Christ campus ministries.  We’ll worship God, fellowship, and eat together.  Bring a hoodie/jacket and maybe a blanket to stay warm!   FREE!

The Journey – Wednesday, October 13, 7-8 PM
