**Workers Needed for Inner City Meal**
Saturday, Jan. 15, 11 AM at Hope Park
Looking for an opportunity to serve and be
involved in this body’s ministry to the community? An inner-city meal is
prepared and served by West-Ark (with CURE’s support) every 3rd Saturday at Hope
Park (H Street between 2nd Street & Clayton Expressway). This is just west
of The Hope Chest at 4th & H Streets. The next gathering will be
Saturday, 1/15/11 at 11 AM for 1 to 2 hours.
This is a good opportunity to experience this
work because WinterFest will be taking some regular servants away and the Youth
Group will not be there to help fill the gap, so we could use some extra willing
hands. Maybe you’ll become a regular too, but if it’s only to help bridge
the gap, you will be blessed by serving! Come join us! To let us
know that you’ll help or for more info, please contact Jack Lewis or Pam
Watlington or Joyce Chadwell.
**Joy Bunch!**
Please join us on Saturday, January 15, for fellowship and
good food. We will meet in the FLC at 6 PM. Guests are welcome at any of our
monthly meetings.
**Jail Ministry Update**
Kaelin Schaper studied with Vong Inthavongsa who was baptized
on Saturday, December 18. Five men and one woman were also baptized into
Christ on the same day.
**Notes of Thanks**
Church Family,
Thank you for the beautiful plant you sent when Mother
passed away. For the many cards, calls, and acts of kindness we thank
you. We miss her but she is in a better place and waiting for the rest of
us.
In Him,
Mary Margaret Wray
