**Notes of Thanks**

Dear West-Ark,

Thank you for being so accepting to me and welcoming me with open arms.

               Cathy Ward

To the West-Ark Church of Christ,

The family of Reba Aldridge would like to thank you so very much for the many acts of kindness shown during her long illness and eventual death. This includes the visits, cards, food, potted plant, and wonderful lunch after the service.  Our church family means more to us than we can possibly convey.

We appreciate you and love you all!

               Jerry, Barbara and Jody Aldridge

               Gina and Bailey Williams

Dear West-Ark friends,

Saying, "Thank You" is not enough to respond to the cards, notes and letters I have received from you. I want to show my appreciation; I don't know how. You have helped and continue to help me through my illness. Your visits are an encouragement. I appreciate your many prayers and ask that they never cease. Know that I love each of you.

               God Bless,

               Myra Flippo-Puckett

**Second Class Mailing of Family Lines Newsletter to End Soon**

After Thursday, April 28, we will no longer mail out the Family Lines Newsletter/Bulletin under our second class postage license.  We have continued to see a decrease in the number of bulletins sent out through second class distribution. Currently we mail out 93 copies; 75 of these are to West-Ark members.  We will continue to send out the on-line version in advance of Sunday worship as we have been doing for the past nine years. The printed version will be available every Sunday morning.

The Why

The application for second class/periodicals postage is becoming more complicated.  That application is due in May.  We do not intend to renew the application. The additional work involved in preparing the bulletin for second class distribution is less cost effective than ever. We are concerned that future changes to the post office (i.e. moving operations to Fayetteville) could make the local delivery of the bulletin even slower.  We are researching this and cannot be certain that this will be the case, but it is a valid question.

Our Commitment

* Shut-ins will still be mailed a copy of the bulletin under first class postage.  The number of shut-ins is about 30.

* The bulletin will include the most up-to-date material and be applicable for the week ahead.  In fact, it may become even more up-to-date since we avoid the deadline imposed by second-class postage.  We will also be able to change the the size and format of our newsletter from time-to-time to one that will complement our Sunday worship and the week's events.

* We will continue to improve on-line and electronic means of communication.

* We will provide plenty of copies of the bulletin so that members who want to personally share a bulletin with shut-ins or family members may do so.
