chemotherapy treatments.
- David Carson's
surgery went well. He is in Sparks
Hospital, room 488.
- Eulonda Grist
(Ed's mother) is still running fever in the
afternoons. Prayers are requested for her
comfort.
- Frances
Strawhacker had surgery for a broken collarbone
last week and is doing well.
- Hazel Richards is
home from the hospital. She still has some
weakness, but is feeling better.
- Ben Pearson
requests prayers for his son, Travis.
Sympathy
Our
love and sympathy is extended to J.C., Jill and
Carl Wood for the death of Jay Wood.
Visitation will be 6-8 PM Friday, July 1 at Lewis
Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at a later
date.
Our love and sympathy is also
extended to Tamara Walker and family in the death
of her brother, Kevin Franklin. The funeral
will be 4 p.m. Friday, July 1, at Pleasant Street
Church of Christ in Springdale under the direction
of Heritage Funeral Home in Springdale.

Aric Mitchell is planned for Sunday, July 17, from
2:00 to 3:30 PM in the home of Patti Anderson,
3004 Windrift Cove in Village Harbor. Kelli
and Aric are registered at Walmart and
Kohl's.

Valley Bible Camp, July 3-9
Regular
Campers
Jack
Lewis will take a van for the regular campers who
need a ride on Sunday, July 3. They will leave
right after church Sunday morning. Please make
sure your child brings money for lunch. Jack will
return Saturday morning, July 9, to pick up any
regular campers who need a ride home.
Day
Campers
For
all day campers going Monday - Thursday, July 4-7,
the van will leave the building at 7 a.m. and will
arrive for camp by 9 a.m. The van will pick
up the day campers each day at 4 p.m. and return
them to the church at 5:30 p.m. Each driver will
have a list of campers and phone numbers. If you
have not contacted Niketa Stinchcomb (479
996-3001) to let her know you will have a day
camper, please do so!
King's Kids
News Our Art & Soul Classes
continue this week for Kindergarten through 2nd
graders. Ashley Mohler, our King's Kids
intern is using her gifts in leading these
classes. Our prayer is that it will be a fun
experience for the kids while teaching them that
everyone has gifts to use for God! Please
note the schedule below, culminating in an Art
Show for the entire church family to
enjoy!

Bulgaria
Mission Trip - June 23-July 6, 2011
We
are still in need of funds for this trip.
See Rick or Rachel if you have the ability to help
us complete our fundraising for this life-changing
experience. We are scheduled to arrive back
in Tulsa at 7:40 PM on July 7. Thanks for your
continued prayers ... our trip has been a great
success so far!
Detroit Mission
Trip - July 15-23, 2011
Applications
have been mailed out for this incredible mission
trip. It is open to EVERYONE at West-Ark from our
new 7th graders and older (including
adults). Cost is $150 per person.
Applications are due July 10, so pick one up from
the hanging files in the foyer next to the Youth
Group bulletin board or from Rachel in the church
office. You will NOT want to miss out on
this great opportunity to serve others.
