SPREAD THIN

Do you ever find yourself on the treadmill of life with your time and resources spread so thin that it's impossible to do all that you know you should be doing? Without a doubt, I can relate with you.

Life in our household is always filled with a zillion activities with four children and Krystabella, our one-month-old granddaughter. Even though Kathy and I just celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary, life continues to unfold around us in ways that we would have previously never thought possible.

Busy families today are facing many time constraints, temptations and challenges that are intense and unrelenting. I'm wondering if your family may be experiencing something similar on an ongoing basis? Since I was raised in a broken home, I know that the realties of divorce are all too common.

And now for some good news - help is on the way. Brad Pistole and I have made a conscious decision to provide biblically based training for parents -- to help families be all that God wants them to be. I believe that God's Word provides parents with truth, encouragement and direction to help us gain a better grasp on raising our children in a positive way. Who should attend this study? Married parents, single parents, couples who are planning to have children, and even grandparents can benefit from this study, Making Children Mind Without Losing Yours.

This six-week Wednesday night class begins April 4. Pre-registration is necessary so that we can order the workbooks.

See you in Bible Class!
