LEARNING TO LIVE AS AN ADULT

After an individual graduates from high school they are thrust into many life situations they had not previously encountered before. Most of it centers around the transition of learning to live in the world as an adult. Individuals in this age category are typically dealing with issues of remaining single, or getting married, while also establishing a household. During these years, adults are determining their primary vocation. Demands are growing on their time, career, and relationships. This is also a time of developing adult-level relational abilities as well as parenting skills. If married, they are often struggling with a hectic schedule where both husband and wife are employed. Even though this can be a difficult passage to go through, it doesn’t have to be that way.

Our Bible classes can either help or hinder this process. If our adult Bible classes are formed according to general age groupings and life situations … this becomes an asset to help overcome some of the common, difficult transitions in life.

Currently, not all of our adult classes are structured in such a way to accommodate all of the various ages and stages in life that we experience. But did you know that at West-Ark we have Bible classes that are specifically designed to meet the above stated needs for young adults? Yes, we do.

I’d like to encourage all college age/young adults to participate in our excellent Bible classes on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights if you’re not already involved in a study. See you in Bible class this week!
