GIVE GOD YOUR BURDENS

Isn’t it wonderful to serve a Loving Heavenly Father who allows us to give Him all our burdens? Although this is true, there are too many times when we try to take care of the situation on our own. Sometimes we even act and live as if it all depends upon us.

It is at these times when we need to be reminded of promises like Romans 9:16, "It does not, therefore, depend on man's desire or effort, but on God's mercy."

In keeping with these same thoughts, I’d like to pass along to you what someone else shared with me.

Hello, This is God:

Today I will be handling all of your problems. Please remember that I do not need your help. If the devil happens to deliver a situation to you that you cannot handle, do not attempt to resolve it. Kindly put it in the SFJTD (something for Jesus to do) box. It will be addressed in My time, not yours. Once the matter is placed into the box, do not hold on to it or remove it. Holding on or removal will delay the resolution of your problem.

If it is a situation that you think you are capable of handling, please consult me in prayer to be sure that it is the proper resolution. Because I do not sleep, nor do I slumber, there is no need for you to lose any sleep. Rest my child. If you need to contact me, I am only a prayer away.

Love, GOD

I’m reminded of Paul’s words in Acts 17:27-28, "God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us. `For in him we live and move and have our being.'"

See you in Bible Class this week.
