⁸ For by grace you have been saved through faith, and not of yourselves; it is a gift of God,

GRACE is a free gift from God. No benefit comes from any gift unless it is accepted, opened, and used. We are not saved by GRACE alone, but through faith. (Romans 5:15; 3:24)
