1. Jesus Christ has complete authority in religious matters.
  2. Jesus placed that authority into his spoken Word.
  3. Jesus passed that Word along to the apostles by the Holy Spirit. They wrote it down, it has been preserved in the New Testament, and it will judge us in the Last Day.
  4. The New Testament is sufficient.
  5. The words of God must be respected.
  6. Christ's will became effective at His death on the Cross.

  7. WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED?
    1. The answer of Jesus can be found in:
      1. "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." -- Matthew 28:19
      2. "He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned." -- Mark 16:16
      3. Then He said to them, "Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem." -- Luke 24:46-47
    2. This way was confirmed in Acts:
      1. Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Men and brethren, what shall we do?" Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." -- Acts 2:37-38
      2. "And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord." -- Acts 22:16
